Plan: Building the life I want and giving her the opportunity to come with me

Looking Better

Getting back into my workout routine after the holidays. Gym has been closed so I've been using my dumbbell set at home. Am going to work on higher weights/lower reps.

Expanding Social Life

Have been making great progress scheduling time out with friends. I've definitely been noticing more and more about my frame and how important it is. I have certain friends who I immediately feel comfortable and at ease with, and I'm realizing that is because I've subconsciously established a frame with them where I'm at my best. I have some other acquaintances where I don't feel 100% comfortable in a social setting with them, and I'm realizing that is because I haven't strongly set my frame. Now that I'm conscious of this, I'm working to make sure I maintain my best frame at all times.

Taking The Lead

I have worked hard to be the leader in my relationship for the holiday season-- gone about our travel as if she wasn't even there and always had our next move planned in advance in my head. I've definitely noticed how much I've been lax about this in the past. It's really easy to just let someone else worry about travelling and when we need to be where.

Problem Areas

She is doing an alcohol-free January and I'm very supportive of this. But she's also used this as an excuse as to why she needs to go to bed early and why she needs to hold off on being physical for a moment. I'm seeing that as a shit-test but also would rather get her sobriety off to a good start as well, so I haven't been pushing back hard on that yet.

After jumping back into MRP a few months ago, I took her on a surprise date where I led her from destination to destination without telling her what the plan was, and that really had an effect on her. We had a week of great sex after that. But things fell off when shark week hit and then we've been back to more or less square one after that.

I've been working on push-pull and teasing her and maintaining an alpha frame and I notice that the vibe has been better and more playful, but haven't sealed the deal in a few weeks. I'm planning on some strong initiations over the next couple of days when schedules align.
